More About Carmen: 

From birth, my life has been marked by the identity of a military child - a path that later included becoming a military pilot’s spouse and a homeschool mother of five. Over fifty years, I have been surrounded by real-life heroes whose courage and dedication have shaped not only my Christian worldview but also the stories and reflections I share through my writing.  

What do I read when I am not writing?  

I read Devotions, Christian Fiction and Non-Fiction.  Plus, I read all Jane Austin fan fiction! 

I have an enormous collection of Children's Picture Books. I started the collection in 1992 while attending University.  In my Children's Literature class for my Education Degree, 50% of our grade was to collect 50 children's books for our future classroom.  I still have those books - plus many more!
