Behind the Devotion of Command to Move - Inspiration

“Command to Move” Devotion 29.

Published in the book: All Things New: Lessons in God’s Transforming Love in Action.

“Command to Move” explores a time when the Lord directed us toward something new, but He remained silent through the journey, only offering peace and comfort through scripture. My intention is for the devotion to inspire and help you to remember you are not alone even when the path is not clear. If God calls you to move somewhere unfamiliar or begin a new chapter — whether that means relocating, changing jobs, or shifting you from the back row in the church to the front — I pray you walk forward in confidence and gain spiritual insight to recognize the deeper work taking place in your life as He prepares you for what’s next!

* 2 1/2 years ago my caption for this picture read this: 💥 Bam! 22 crates! (But, only 6 crates could fit on this truck at a time!) Eventually, the contents of those crates will be unboxed and will fill up a semi-truck. But, for now it is all going in long-term storage until the Lord tells us where we are to settle. Over the course of my life, this is my 18th military household goods pack-up! Chris and I, along with the 5 teenagers, will all sleep in the camper tonight. Tomorrow, we set out for a new adventure.
